I would have to say today is very hot. It is probably as hot as I have ever been. My electric bills are sky rocketing, my car is over heating and walking outside turns my shirts into water receptacles, but is this global warming?
I have heard different talking heads saying this and that, I have seen Michael Drudge flip flop on the issue. One day South Dakota is approaching 115 degrees, but today the year 1922 seems to have the hottest heat wave ever reported.
Michael Savage, an educated genius if you ask me, has quoted several scientific journals and professionals who seems to believe the reason for the hotter temps is that the ocean, which temperature is not governed only from the air but from the earth below, has gotten warmer.
Hurricane forecasters have downplayed their forecasts, saying that this season will not be as bad as the last two.
Al Gore, who of course should be believed because he invented the internet and his gas guzzling vehicles and private planes do not pollute the environment, has made a movie An Inconvenient Truth, which shows the other side of the issue. He explains the same things that the main stream media cram into our heads every day; George Bush is bad, SUV drivers are bad, factories are bad, America is bad, you get the picture.
I have yet to find a person on the left side of this issue to give a compelling argument, nor have I found a person on the right give one either. So if there is so much confusion over this issue, why are we so eager to scare people about stuff that has been taking place since God created this world?
Maybe Pat Robertson is on something. He has come out to support the theory that the world is being destroyed by us, mankind? I ask Mr. Robertson to prove it. He is a minister. Everything he says should be compared to the Word of God and see if it holds weight.
I have a hard time believing that man can destroy something that God has made. But wait, mankind has destroyed animals and forests and you name it. Yes, individual things have been taken away, but that is not an issue we have control over, that is God's call. If God had not willed it, it would not have happened. And I am not so vein to think that anyone other than me will read this post, but if there is someone that reads this, yes God does allow bad things to happen. He allows them, because this world is sinful due to the fall of man and He allows the evil hearts of every man to have what they choose! But that is not to say we can destroy what He created. Only He can do so. We rely do think highly of ourselves.
Could the word money have anything to do with it? Seems to me that there are a lot of theories that get my tax money to tell me something I myself cannot control or fix all together.
We as mankind, have been asked to be good stewards with what God has entrusted us. We ,at every turn, seem to fail except in the few instances through time like Noah, Moses, and The Lord and my Savior Jesus Christ.
My friends look around you. If you see trash pick it up, don't throw trash on the ground. Keep it clean, leave it better than you found it, stop worrying about what you cannot control, and please for the love of pete, think about what you are being told, before you buy it hook line and sinker.
God bless and God speed
