I just wanted to let my readers know, that Time Warner Cable is denying new apartment residents, new phone service until October 1st, 2006. Since the buyout of Comcast and strong arm contracts with apartment communities, people of the Far North Dallas area are unable to have the basic choice of phone providers and the basic safety of 911. Time Warner and Comcast are keeping profits up by denying the public the opportunity to choose its own phone provider and in turn public safety is now in jeopardy.
